Every headline here links out to the original reporting, and those sources differ in what they let you read. We mark each one so you know before you click. Register is the one worth acting on — those sites cost nothing but want an account, or will let you read a few pieces a month and then stop. Today’s Take Blue Owl's renewed 5% gates on two credit BDCs still dominate, set against a Reuters read that redemption demand at its flagship is cooling, while Oaktree, Ares and Apollo show credit capital still raising freely. In private equity, Blackstone puts $1bn behind a new defense platform, Investcorp beats its buyout target and a Bloomberg column frames a leaner era for exits; on the regulatory side, the SEC charges a pre-IPO fund adviser and the law firms parse its retail-access proposals. 22 stories

Holders of roughly 39% of a $5bn technology-focused Blue Owl BDC tendered shares, up from about 38% a quarter earlier, and a second vehicle drew around 17%. The manager again honoured only the 5% quarterly ceiling, so the queue is clearing slowly. For GPs and allocators it keeps the valuation and liquidity-mismatch question open for every non-traded credit fund.
